All of life is change. I can help you manage change so that it doesn't manage you. You will find me most helpful if you're in a tough transition in your love or work life, or if you're stuck in a rut. As a Licensed Psychotherapist and Mental Health Counselor with 20 years experience, I'll help you through it.

Also, as a respected Dating Coach (featured in the N.Y. Times) I can help you find and build a satisfying relationship; or help you heal one you're already in; or else help you end it and move on. People have told me I'm good at helping them gain insight into the opposite sex; and also at helping them quickly assess a new date's compatibility. I also can show you how to improve your primary long-term relationship -- the one with yourself.

Together, we will do solution-oriented work, focusing on the here-and-now, and on developing the skills you need to create the life you want. This work will help you discover your deeper self, which is the place where lasting solutions are born.

Overall, my style is warm, engaging, and goal-oriented. I am often told this is a welcome change for those whose previous therapists "didn't say much" or "didn't offer any feedback". And as you can tell from my photo, I've “been around the block” a few times, and have personally known many of life's challenges. In other words – I've been through it, so I can help you go through it.

I am Gestalt-trained and humanistic in my approach, so I can say that it has been my privilege to have helped so many men and women find happiness on their own terms.
