I have a 13 year old son, in the 7th grade, who has been very disrespectful, defiant, physical at times towards his brother, refusing to do homework, thus doing poorly in two classes. One of these classes, he clearly doesn't like the teacher and early on she labeled him disruptive and disrespectful. At home, because of the non-listening, I have yelled/screamed, to no avail and I am now doing my best to turn this situation around. My husband has pinned our son against the wall a couple times, guess trying to scare him and now our son his very mad and just flat out refusing to do his homework. He says he doesn't care and all I talk to him about is school...I tell him school is his life and he gets so mad. What can I do to get him to start caring again and avoid all these arguments?
