Asktheinternettherapist is a paid for sessions site. Only the Discussion Groups are free of charge.
All e-mail questions can be accessed immediately from the homepage by clicking on Registered Members Log In link. If you are a member already, log in and click on "Make an Email Counseling Appointment." Then select the online counselor or medical doctor of your preference. Allow 24-48 hrs. for a response from the therapist.
For all audiovisual, phone, and chat counseling sessions with any of our staff members please read the directions below. Select an appointment 24-48 hours ahead to allow the therapist to schedule it properly. Remember to confirm your appointment after the purchase has been made to properly schedule the appointment in the counselor's calendar.
Select what Medium you would like to have (Chat, Phone, Audio/Visual, E-mail Counseling Sessions), and for how long.
A confirmation page will appear with the Date, Time, Medium, and Therapist Name, as well as the cost for the session. Click on Purchase Appointment.
You will be redirected to the shopping cart, where you can Proceed to Checkout to complete the purchase.
If you are a returning customer you can enter youe Email Address and Password to Log in; otherwise, click on New Customer to create a new account for the shopping cart.
Select your form of payment (Credit Card, PayPal or Google Checkout payments are accepted).
Continue to the Next screen for the shipping options, which there should be none... Continue to the next screen to complete your checkout.
Once you submit your payment, MAKE SURE TO CONFIRM YOUR APPOINTMENT. Failure to confirm your appointment can result in the Therapist not receiving notice of your appointment.
You can always log back in to check the time or see your calendar for the appointments that you have setup.
