Without meeting you formally, my best guess is that you are here because you are experiencing the sadness, frustration, and fear of living with problems and unrealized dreams.
My name is Lauren Trecosta. I can help you work through life’s challenges and move toward the life you want.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with 12+ years of experience and two Master’s degrees, one in Psychological Services and the other in Education. I began my career as an individual and group therapist with The Women’s Center, an outpatient clinic serving women, men, and children of all ages. I have been in private practice since 2001 and work with men, women, couples, and adolescents.
I have extensive experience working with a broad range of issues: relationships, parenting and co-parenting, depression, anxiety, gay and lesbian issues, and self-esteem. I am especially interested in helping clients move beyond their problems and toward making their dreams a reality.
I am guided by you in our work together as well as by the nature of the problem, the desired solutions, and strategies to achieve it. As a counselor, I listen to you, provide you with information and feedback, and prompt you with leading and reflective questions to help you move closer to the life you want.
I offer e-mail internet counseling so that I can work with you, the client, at a time, price, and location that is mutually satisfying. My commitment is to respond to your e-mail within 24-48 hours, Monday through Friday.
