Hello. My name is Theresa Graham. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the lovely (and wet!) state of Oregon. I possess an MA in Counseling, an MA in Pastoral Ministry, and a BA in Psychology. As a pastoral minister and professional counselor, I have had the priviledge of walking alongside those of us experiencing times of brokeness and overwhelming life challenges while offering genuine empathic support and hope with tools for healing, growth, and positive change for the past 20 years.
With my combined degrees and experience I have primarily focused upon codependency and relational issues, domestic violence, care giver support, eating disorders, identity and career development, bereavement, mood regulation, depression, anxiety, and spiritual issues. I have specialized training for those clients who desire Christian based counseling and am also trained to provide therapy for those who do not wish to integrate faith with therapy. I employ an Existential approach to counseling relying heavily upon Gestalt (techniques to effect wholeness) and cognitive-behavioral interventions. It is my goal as a therapist to provide a safe, warm, and trusting environment that communicates value, promotes healing and growth, and empowers clients with tools that can lead to wholeness and enhanced life skill management. If you feel I may be a good match for your etherapy needs, I am available for email and chat sessions.
