Product Description
Codependence is the tendency to over-control others. There is a very noble, unselfish, and authentic desire to help other people, but there is also a selfish component to codependence.
Codependency is a disorder that can be understood and treated effectively.
This self-help DVD about codependency focuses on the symptoms, origin, and solution and treatment for a codependent relationship. Codependence occurs when a person is so concerned with a loved one that they spend an enormous time focusing on and trying to take care of that person and therefore neglect their own self-care. This mental health DVD is an effective way to deal with this problem.

A review by a therapist about this psychology video:
"Your relationship to the substance abuser can be very unhealthy. This DVD explores this dynamic and provides insight into the symptoms and origins. Having a healthy self-image is the road to happiness and simply cannot overly depend on the of those you are trying to help. Misplaced compassion is not the answer. The answer is within this video."
