Nina White is the owner and founder of Fertile Roots Nutrition, a practice that focuses on women’s health and fertility. Nina studied holistic nutrition at Bauman College in Berkeley, California where she received her certification as a Holistic Nutrition Consultant, graduating with honors. She offers one on one counseling sessions, classes and workshops teaching women how to heal their bodies with food.

 Nina’s passion for nutrition was sparked after struggling with her own health issues such as weight gain, infertility and depression. Through research and self experimentation she began to see how what she put into her body affected her health. Once she made that mind - body connection she became obsessed with nutrition and wanted to learn everything she could and continues to do so. In 2010 she started her “Eating for Fertility” program that helps empower women to make healthy changes to their diet and lifestyle when trying to conceive, throughout their pregnancy and beyond. Balancing hormones, losing weight, regulating menstrual cycles and getting pregnant naturally are all possible when we take care of ourselves the way Mother Nature intended. Nina believes that true happiness and balance comes when we learn to love ourselves mind, body and spirit. Her mission is to help women reclaim their fertility one bite at a time!

Nina is a self titled "health foodie" and you can usually find her at local farmers markets on the weekend. She is committed to living a holistic lifestyle and also enjoys cooking, traveling, reading, riding her bike, and gardening at her home in San Diego, California. Nina is passionate about teaching others about the power of food and welcomes the opportunity to help you with your health challenges in a caring and nurturing way.
